Summer is a wonderful time to plan a photoshoot. There are lots of options for every aspect of your shoot. Here are a few tips to have a great summer photoshoot
- Wear bug spray. Those flower fields are beautiful, but they are extremely buggy. The last thing anyone wants is a crying or itchy kid from a bite or a sting. A small sidenote: Don’t wear perfume, it might attract bugs.
- Bring backup clothes. Summer is hot, people get sweaty and kids get dirty easily. I have witnessed sweat spots getting bigger quickly and light-colored shirts becoming darker.
- Be prepared for the heat. Depending on the day and location, shade may be limited. There may or may not be a breeze. So have cooling items on standby.
Bonus tip: Stay hydrated. Science has shown that hydration is a key part in looking and feeling fabulous. And we all want to look fabulous in our photos.
